Connecticut Sheepbreeders Program
We have developed a special insurance program for members of the Association. An eligible member can have one sheep or a hundred head. There is a 10% premium discount for members, liability coverage included for showing animals at fairs, exhibitions, etc. Losses caused by coyotes also included. If a sheepbreeder is not a member of the CSBA we have applications and can arrange for immediate membership so as to obtain the benefits of our insurance program.
Connecticut Beekeepers Association Program
Another of our specially formulated farm insurance packages for hobby farmers is our Beekeeper program. Members of CBKA receive a special discount on this package but it, like all of our programs, is available to all beekeepers in CT, MA, RI and VT.
Product liability is included in the package. Hives and equipment can be scheduled for coverage and we also provide coverage for hives at other locations for an extra charge.
Connecticut Christmas Tree Growers Association
We are very pleased to offer a special insurance program for members of CCTGA. As with all of our hobby farm packages, we will convert a current homeowner policy to a farmowners. The farmer gets everything he had with his homeowner policy plus farm liability. Coverage is provided for customers on the farm property while choosing and cutting a Christmas tree. Product liability is also included.
All of our programs provide year round farm liability coverage so that after the primary season is over the farmer still has coverage in place for other farm activities.
